Leena Lehtolainen

Leena Lehtolainen (born 1964) is especially famous for her Maria Kallio and Henkivartija crime novel series. She has also written numerous novels in other genres, as well as children’s and young adults’ books. Lehtolainen published her first novel when she was just 12 and celebrates the 50th anniversary of her writing career in 2026. Leena Lehtolainen’s books have been translated into over 30 languages. Millions of her books have been sold worldwide.
