Skúli Sigurdsson (IS)

Skúli Sigurdsson’s (born 1985) novel “Stóri bróðir”, the first in a series, won the Crime Novel of the Year Award in Iceland and is shortlisted for the Glass Key Award. The series follows the work of seasoned policeman Héðinn. The backdrop is Iceland’s rugged nature.

Skúli studied international law in Costa Rica and has worked for the UN in Jordan. His literary icons are Raymond Chandler and Ian Fleming.
