Stefan Ahnhem is a major name in the top tier of Scandinavian thriller authors. Born in Stockholm in 1966, he grew up in Helsingborg and now lives with his family in Copenhagen. In the 1980s and 1990s Ahnhem played in a synth duet called Spacelab. He was a film and TV screenwriter for twenty years until he began his writing career in 2014. The first instalment in his Fabian Risk crime series, Victim without a Face, was an international success which won the Crimetime Award. This thriller series deftly combines psychological suspense and hectic action.
