Heikki Valkama (born 1975) is a Helsinki-based journalist and thriller author. His debut novel, \u201cPallokala\u201d, which introduced top Finnish chef Riku M\u00e4ki to the public, won him the \u201cBook \u00e0 la Carte\u201d award, while the Finnish Whodunnit Society awarded the book its Debut Detective Novel of the Year title. \u201cKeisarin varjo\u201d (2025) is part six of the Riku M\u00e4ki crime novel series, set in Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
